When everyone and their mother was telling you that NO, this business idea of yours would never work, was the voice in your heart enthusiastically cheering you on and shouting, "Oh hell yes it will!!!"

If you answered yes to any or all of the questions above, then you my dear are a “Soul” Proprietor….not merely a “sole” proprietor, the title you have for tax reasons, but yes, a way down deep, gladly, enthusiastically and tirelessly worked your fingers to the bone to get here, live and breathe your business SOUL PROPRIETOR and I am so glad that you're here!!!

There is nothing more exhilarating and terrifying then stepping out onto the ledge of entrepreneurship….I know this from personal experience.  The highs and lows of running your own company are as challenging as they are amazing and you and I wouldn’t trade those experiences for anything!

But let’s be honest, sometimes it gets a little lonely out there in Soul Proprietor Land….your family thinks this idea of yours is crazy, your friends can’t relate to this fiery passion you have and try though you might, it’s been really hard trying to find other like-minded women who fundamentally “get” this dream of yours.

I can absolutely relate.  Having been in my own business for close to 14 years I know how hard it is to connect with other women who don’t work for themselves.  I know what it feels like when you’re so excited about a record setting sales day or an amazing new product idea and you can’t wait to call your best friend to tell her and she isn’t nearly as excited as you would have liked her to be. 

Back when I originally laid out my idea for the Tell a Girlfriend Network I envisioned this fantastic virtual place where business owners would show up, applaud one another, buy each other’s products and run screaming into the night to tell THEIR girlfriends all about you.  I had this notion that if I could pull a fabulous group of inspiring women together then maybe if we worked really hard we could make an amazing difference in the world and empower other women just enough to realize the value of their own dreams…..  Frankly, I still think it was a great idea and one that I remain passionate about, but it didn’t quite turn out the way I planned.

When things don’t work the way you want them to, but the original idea won’t seem to go away, I believe that’s when you have to sit back, reshuffle the deck and start over again.  So here we are.

Fearlessly Fabulous Soul Proprietor is dedicated to you.  It is a place where I hope to share my entrepreneurial experiences with you, offer a bit of sage advice and do whatever  I can to help you keep that way-down-deep fire burning and always guiding you forward!  My wish is that we will come together here in the spirit of true support, encouragement, celebration and inspiration, share what we have learned, ask the questions we have been dying to ask and if all goes as planned get the tools we need to achieve whatever our version of success might be.
